To Hone or to Resleeve?

So my top end blew not really damaging the cylinder but a few carbon oil spots you know. I've bad things about honing like the top end wont last long i would like to just hone it out but i'll leave to the experts everyone on here. What do you think i do?

first off what year and model bike......and is there any groves/scratches on the cylinder walls?when you blew the top end what was the damage can you post some pics on the piston and cylinder walls?

its a 2001 yz 125. The first ring cracked the second ring failed because i didnt gap it and the piston deformed and ruined the ring i'll have to take pictures in the morning.

don't the '01 yz125's only have 1 ring?
