Top end & Exaust question

Hey folks I tore my topend down tonight and found the cylinder to be plated but really wore (81 and all) I figured as much, question is what would you do? Replate, and where could i get this done in eastern Canada or insert a sleeve. I'm not to interested in more power or anything just a solid power train again.
Second question, When I pulled off the exaust i could here a big rattle as if something was loose inside the pipe not the silencer.??? Are there baffels or something welded from the inside??

1. If your bike had nikasil plating, by all means get it replated if it's out of spec. That plating keeps wear down. The cost is high enough you might just look for a kdx cylinder off of ebay or call Jeff Fredette and see what he has used.

2. there could be somthing loos inside or jsut the carbon buildup rattling.

Both places do replating, I know many people who have had sled cylenders replated by birch point.
The other place is in quebec. Don't know anything about thier work.
