top end

I have a 2004 honda crf250r and it has some sick low end power on it. The only thing is now is that it seems like its losing top end power. I know 4-strokes down have top end power like a 2-smoke but it just feels like its stops going any faster in like third/fourth gear. and suggestions?

Whens the last time you checked your valves?

yep , check the valves very often on these bikes. keep them in adjustment or youll pay big $$$ when they screw up on ya from being tight.
