Hi,

I've always wondered if there is a paint-code for the green frame paint that Kawacker use, I tried the local dealer but just got lots of tooth-sucking, erms and ahh's?
My 220R, even after just 300 miles, needs a few licks here and there to keep her looking tidy....ohh the model year 2003 if this is important?
The bodyshop I use can mix the paint for me they just need this code...cars are no problem they have everything on file but they don't paint too many bikes.....they did repaint a Kawasaki Jet ski come to think of it, but that was purple!

....any ideas?

cheers
Richard

touch up paint

Richard,
My Lime Green touch up paint is made by Kawasaki.

There is no number on bottle. 15 ml. Looks like a nail varnish bottle and brush. Bought this out here in Japan.

I know this doesn't help much, but I guess it shows that it is available.

Hope you track some down.

Check with colorite.com (I think that's the address anyway) I believe they have it....you can get spray cans, bottle brush or in pens (Works great for small knicks). I've gotten paint from them before....always a perfect match (So far anyway)

Just get the PJ1 is matches perfectly. We bought ours from Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain. If you want to use a brush spray some in a can top and apply it that way. We masked and masked and masked and repainted the frame where the boots and brush rub. Looks Good! The KDX is not the flo green.
