Trail Conditions of the Meadows loop?

Has anyone been to the Meadows loop yet? I am want to ride this weekend, but I can't decide if I should take off my studded tires.

Haven't rode there yet this spring, but live 1/2 hour south of there. Bet there is still ice in the whoops and deep shaded areas. Be a tough call with the 70 degree weather this week.
If it were me, I'd leave the studs in and enjoy the ride.

Scott - recall an ill fated Gladwin ride last year? Dont want a repeat?!

I was out trail bombing in my Jeep last evening around the Atlanta area (not to far from Meadows). In spots significant snow in shaded areas or where the snow had been packed down from snomobiles etc. As 2trackr said - warm temps we are having will do significant damage to all that by the weekend!

STUDS!..... Naw who needs studs. We'll just start small campfires and melt the remainder of the ice. :)
