change my RSVP... i can't get the GF's bike started and not sure if mine will start either. her's wouldn't start once before when it was this cold (it's new to us, a 2002 XR250 on which we've about 5 rides) and we had to pull it quite a way before it would fire up. the next time we were to ride this cold i started it the night before and the next morning it fired up first kick. i was attempting this trick again tonight and no dice. i have a feeling if it won't start tonight at 42 degrees, it won't start tomorrow after being blasted down the highway at 75 mph for 3 1/2 hours at colder temps. so we're out.

just for fun, i changed out her main jet from a 132 to a 138. (the only extra jet i had) and it made no difference. argh.

Bummer on the XR250 no-start. I had a '97 XR250 which was the same way. I raised the needle one clip which helped, you may want to try it.
