tranny oil

what tranny oil would you guys recommend for my 2000 RM 125? I live in the upstate of south carolina so its gonna be chilly here till around march or april so please let me know what would be a good oil to use. i heard something about synthetic motor oil???


and also i've had my clutch cover off for a few days so that i can paint it so should i take off the plates and re-soak them before i fill the tranny again?? thanks guys

Well, I was going to tell you to do a search, but all I get is a blank white page(from the search link at the top of the page, next to quick links) when I search, so...

Edit: the above only happens when I search on "tranny oil".

People will say to use ATF, 10w30, etc. I use full synthetic 15w50 (mobil1) myself. As long as you change it often, you should be good to go.
