Most common problem is something has damaged the output shaft seal or the o-ring at the rear of the collar has failed.Remove the chain,the countershaft sprocket and the shaft collar,if the collar has grooves worn in it you may want to replace it if you suspect that to be the problem,remove the old seal and o-ring and replace with new ones,they can be found at a seal shop,just bring in the old ones and they can match them up(bring the collar with you for measurements) or go to a dealer.
If this does not solve the problem then the front sprocket may be worn also,not on the outer diameter but in width,this can cause the collar to have to much side play and cause the oil to slowly pass by the o-ring at the end of the collar,you can solve this by replacing the sprocket or by placing 2 o-rings on the shaft .
