Yeah I know we don't have much for rocks or hills, but I'm prettv sure there a a few trials here each year. I found a web site but it's all old stuff. I'd like to go watch one this year and maybe try one out---but can't find a schedule or location. Any help? Active web site that has local meets listed? Thanks

Bob, I've seen a number of official trials events happening at Croom during the past few years. I don't know their web site but I'll keep my eyes open and ask someone next time I see them.

Thanks KTM/Maico - The one time I was at Crooms I saw a few trials bikes there and was dumbfounded.

I've thought that when I get old I might try some - not to put down trials at all - but I think one could be competetive without a lot of danger.

Actually it's quite a bit more demanding that it looks (a least when it's done right it looks easy  ).

Patman is right. I was a A rider enduro person who decided to take up trials thinking it would be easy, WRONG! It is harder. It can be safer if you stay in the lower classes but if you start to do the big rocks you can really hurt yourself. I just sold my 2000 GG to Dave Wolfe a top AA Rider in Colorado and ISDE Silver Medalist in the last 2 ISDE's and he looked like a fish out of water. His first time riding it he realized just how hard it was. He was gripping the bars so tight he moved the grip in 3 inches. I have seen some really good older riders too, but ones with lot's of experience. When you get old let us know what you think.
