Would moving my forks up in my triple clamps improve the handling of my bike and if so how much do I move them, I have a 2005 RMZ 450.

It will reduce the chance of washing out in the corners, but make is less stable down the straights. Adjust in 10mm increments. Try it and see how it feels.

I herd that at high speeds it had some headshake, I havent really experienced any of that and I have had it wide open in 4th a few times. Would moving my forks help? The terrain was fairley smooth when I topped it out. I guess I will never need to go that fast anyway.

Cornering is more important (IMO) than straights. Try moving them a little the next time you are out. If you don't like it, put them back.
