I want to work out. but I am so friggin tired and sore form the race on Sunday that its Sat. before I can move.

What can a guy do to recover faster after a race?

If your that wasted after a race sounds like you need to start by lots of running or jogging or even riding a bicycle. Drink plenty of fluids. That will help with getting your legs to stay under you.
