I ride mainly on sandy tracks and I use Twin Air filters only (double stage).
I feel that they are built very well and stay for a very long time.
I use to oil filters with Motul Air Filter Oil that is very sticky.
I'm fully satisfied and suggest this solution.

I run one in my KDX. They make a good, quality filter. One nice thing is that it is slightly smaller, so I can get it in and out easier, and scrape less dirt off the sides when removing it. Performance difference? Eh, nothing my finly calibrated butt-dyno could feel. I picked it up basically so I could have two filters to switch between for quick changes. My stock one then began to fall apart near the base, but the Twin Air still looks great.

Twin Air makes a incredable filter I have never had one fail on me and even if one did I am sure the Twin Air guys would be willing to help find the problem and replace it if they could. I think if you need a new filter Twin Air would be the best choice.
