With worn down knobblies on the rear tyre, is it a major factor with getting the front wheel about 2 feet off the ground?

you should always try to keep you tires in the best shape or keep them fresh to help with traction. Worn or badly worn tires will not grip as well and will "let go" without warning which can be a crah waiting to happen.

Hospitals don't scare me, I fight lions off in my back yard! (only kidding)
I just want to know how this would be done.
