upgrading to yz125

hey guy back again been busy with school and all, but i managed to blow the top end on my 88 kx125 i was putting new gaskets in and the ring slipped from its grove and killed my cylinder so i said im done with spending money fixing a bike thats older than me and sold it for a quick 200, so i plan on getting a yz125 1997 or better because i have a friend with a 2000(brought fresh in 2005 ) and i love everything about and i wheelies with ease(i love to do wheelies in the field at the track) and for as long as he has owned the bike he has only done 1 top end job and he changes the oil and cleans the air filter about once every 3 weeks and he rides the bike hard and he rides it on a regular basis( about 3 days out of the week) and i think this bike is just about perfect for me im going to be searching for one in early march but anyway what do you guys think about the yz125 any year from 1997 and up?
