hi i am in the market for a used street bike and i was wondering if anyone knows of any good websites for used motorcycles besides craigslist and cycle trader as i check them regularly. i know its really easy to find motorcycles but my budget is $1500 at the most so its pretty hard to find a cheap bike that is in good shape or at least has a title.

pretty much just those 2. you can get a pretty decent ride for 1500. why does it need a title: you trying to dual sport it?

If he lives in a state that registers OHV (such as California) buying a bike that has a clean title is Highly recommended.


When buying something that I want to inspect before purchasing and shipping is not a viable option: Craigslist is the way to go.

Don't forget to look in areas within a reasonable driving range.

I don't think he wants to dual sport a street bike.

Sine he intends to ride it on the street, he probably needs a title to get it properly registered.

With the price of gas these days, I think fuel efficient street bikes are in demand and harder to find.

OP - Be sure to check for print ads in your local newspapers. They may have classifieds on their websites, too.

Well www.monkeyads.com has a million used bikes of all kind for NY and a couple for other states but from looks of it with the title stuff you are not from New York.
