So who is gonna be there ?

This one is a must do. An incredible tour of the Gorman trails, including the MX track, and no timekeeping equipment necessary.
About 75 miles total.

I've been wanting to go to Gorman. Can a slow guy do this or is it a real race? What does it cost?

You can go as fast as you please ... it's basically a fairly long, slow trailride with a whole bunch of special tests thrown in-between. It is pricey though ... you'd need to sign up for AMA, then District 37, and then pay for the race. If you need to sign up for all of that you're talking around $100 or more. Check your PM ...

yeah yeah yeah, I was looking for something fun to do. enduro, gp, whatever.

It's my wifes birthday on the 19th, so it'll be a tough sell but maybe if I buy her that convertable beetle she wants, maybe just maybe, I'll be in the clear. :thumb:

I assume I can sign up for reverything I need at the location. I've called and Emailed them but I haven't heard an answer yet.

Could someone post directions on how get there. I've never been to Gorman. I know to take the 5 north but what exit? and go where?

I think its the Smokey Bear exit. Just follow the motorcycles.

Directions:
22 miles North of Magic Mountain on I-5.
Exit Quail Lake Road - West to Stop sign-
Left at Stop sign- 3 miles to track.

Company picnic at Magic Mountain on Saturday, so I might be able to work this in. Do they actually check your anti freeze?

They haven't ever checked mine ... 2 years running now. But ... why not just use distilled water if you don't have the right stuff ? No foul ... no harm ... no foul.
