Vertex Piston & Cometic Gasket

I have a Honda cr250 that I'm installing a Vertex B piston into, and am wondering if I use a high compression top end gasket kit as opposed to the standard gasket kit, will I need to modify my cylinder head so that the spark plug clears the piston or anything else does not create a problem?
Help please, I don't want to hurt anything.

No, there is enough clearance that you won't run into problems using the high comp. gasket kit vs. a standard. I've used it on two bikes w/out any problems.

Remember to watch out for detonation. It would be wise to run a high quality race.
