Hi guys I'm pretty new to the message board so I'm not sure if this is where I should post this but, I was wondering what would be a better choice for a piston to rebuild my 04 YZ250. I am looking at a Wiseco Pro-lite, a Vertex, and a Vertex racing piston. I would get the Vertex racing piston if it offers enough of a power increase(with race gas) to justify the extra cost and added maintenance being that it is a single ring piston. I am planning to start racing in march or april so I need something that may give me a little bit more of an advantage. Oh yeah current mods are a FMF SST and Shorty silencer. Planning on getting a Vforce or Boyeson Rad valve your opinions on this would be great too.
Thanks,
Rob

go with the wiesco....the vertex one ring seems like it would wear much faster than the befifits of the small hp gain, while u r doing the top end i would sugject a port and polish job by eric gor!
