If you get an email saying that the DRN mail server will be down and to see an attachment, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT open it. This email is NOT from DirtRider.Net. There is a suspected virus in the attachment. Delete this message.

(Also watch out for the w32.Beagle.j@mm worm.....It's just like the "Bagle" worm. Anything with a .zip or .pif file and mention of a password is suspect)

I got one form, "Tufracing" and another from someone I can't remember.
Our computer geek at school here said the attached file is called a PIF, (which is like a program instead of a document) , it was a Re, Re, Re to a letter I suposely sent!
Ha, caught you this time!!

Hey, Okie - is it still true that (so far) there are no virus' that can be launched just by opening a mail message? You have to open/launch the attachment to do the damage?

I really can't answer that with certainty... but typically you need to execute an attachment to get infected.
