Vforce Reed question

[94KX250]

I just bought a new vforce reed cage from an individual for cheap. He stated that it would fit a 94kx250. It arrived and the serial number on the box is V2M08. I looked it up and it shows that serial number is for a kx500. The 250 serial should be V2M08A. Does anyone know the difference? Will this one work on my bike? It's too late for me to call Moto Tass.. I want to put this in tomorrow and I know they are not open. Can someone help on this please, if you can.

that reed cage fits the 500 and kdx250. The kx is differant as you can see by the part numbers
