Hey,

I just took a chance and rode victor falls today on my 4 stroke and all I can say is "WOW"! Why didn't I go here earlier? I know there's signs for "NO" 2- strokes and atv's but nothing says "No" 4-strokes so its open game for me until someone says something. Besides, its 10 min. up the road and I saw 5 guys on 2 strokes and one atv'er so I'm not too concerned! What a great place to ride everyday during the week!

I've heard many stories of cars getting broken into while parked at the entrance near the school. The locals don't like bikes for some reason. The riding is good but you have to know where to find the super tight stuff. Have you made it down to the river near Orting yet? Kinda a treasure hunt. There is a way.

I'm too worried about my windows getting broken out.

Yeah there's some real winner's that live right there. I think that whole street is the Washington drug cartel, seriously! There's got to be another spot to park though besides there, maybe on the Orting side? I didn't make it to the river but I believe I found where you head down at, the bushes kind of take over the trails in the summer at that place so I was just out for some 3rd gear fireroad riding the other day as I did a big loop. Let me know if you want to hook up and ride during the week, I'm planning on hitting up that spot frequently as it's the only area that's real close. The V-8 tends to rip a hole in my pocket if I go else where every other day.

Yeah I've got the map I'm just looking for more riders to hit it up with and a safer parking spot!

Steve,

I've been riding out at victor for a year on a mt bike and just one ride on my dirt bike. I used to park at the tree farm for mt biking but dirt biking you have to park by the school and that's got bad reviews of locals breaking into the trucks.

I always park at the tree farm whether I'm on the mtb or dirtbike. When I bring out the dirt bike I always get dirty looks from the hardcore mtbers. I don't know how long you've been in the area but that area used to be alot bigger. Ive been going there off and on for about 20 years and have watched that area continually shrinking. I'd say in another 20 years we will no longer be able to ride out there. I remember when you could get cars and trucks back in there. I got a 68 Impala all the way down to the river and back without any trouble now there are spots semi tight on a bike.

Right by that tree farm I had an incident with a county sherrif while on my xr500. He claimed that the whole area was closed and that I was trespassing to go in there. I was sitting on my non running bike with helmet in lap inside the ditch not moving so he let me ride into the woods, what else could he do. I hate bad cops, this one was particularly rude.

WOW I'm surprised you can get your bike out at the farm. There's signs everywhere and the owner comes out and tells you to leave. It's still a good size area for a local spot, the only local spot that I know of at least. THat place up past wilkerson supposively got closed according to lilJeff and hondaxrguy.
