VIN or serial #

Hey guys,
I just got an 03 CR85 and i was wondering if it has a VIN or serial number and where would i find it. I am taking it across the border into the U.S and was told to take it to them and register it. I will need is #. maybe you guys know otherwise? thanks

Frame serial # is on the right side of the steering stem and the engine serial # is underneath the countershaft sprocket .
