Hello out there! I'm Dave, and I just bought a relatively new 2002 Husqvarna CR125, and I'm looking for places to ride in Virginia. I already know about Tasker's Gap and Peddler's Gap, but was hoping I might find someone on here kind enough to invite me to ride on some private land. I live in Sterling, love riding Peddler's Gap, but hate driving 4 hours to get there. Any option's? Thanks to anyone who replies. Cheers, Dave.

Good luch on finding some places to ride. I have posted this same question a bunch of times and did not get any replys on it. You really have to know some one in your area to help you out. I went to some dealers and they could not help me either. I used to live in VA and go back to visit my parents and thought it would be great to do some ridding there. If you find out any thing please let me know.
Thanks
Steven

Michaux is less than 2 hours away and SPER has club rides once a month in the summer.

I'm a member of NVTR, good club they put on some cool rides, actually they are going to http://www.vvalley.com/cove/ this weekend. Very cool place, been there once and they're open other times but not sure how it works, you can call the guy on the site. NVTR is mostly into dual sport rides though. Email me or PM and I'll get you some more info.

I'm fron PA, but rode at a place called "The Cove" in Gore, VA last weekend. The Cove is strickly trail riding, no MX. It has 4 loops, the longest being 27 miles. It has a 15 mile section of loamy single track that is incredible. It costs $20 a day to ride. It's pretty rocky, but Tower City is in my back yard, so rocks are no longer an issue to me. The Cove is organized, so it's not like your dropping off at an illegal spot. Here is their website: The Cove

If anyone out there has any equipment in ex. Bobcat, Backhoe, or dozer, a friend of mine would give riding permission on a 300 acre farm in trade for building some jumps and cutting more trails. The farm is in brandy station VA.

Katie,

If you go to www.allthingsmoto.com there are several members from Dallas that could tell you all the places to ride.

My favorite spot about 1 hour from Houston is Splendora.
