I recently discovered a great magazine about Vintage Motocross. The only rub is that it's published in Australia. But it still has a lot of info from the USA, primarily from Vintage Iron. Anyway, check it out at http://www.vmxmag.com.au

This post needs to come back to the top especially because the latest issue of VMX has a gorgeous Wheelsmith Maico on the cover.

For those who haven't seen VMX magazine it's a true work of art printed on high gloss, high quality stock. Truly a magazine worth subscribing to.

Just be careful that your friends don't drool on the pages :D

VMX is as much an art book as a magazine. If you haven't looked at one of these magazines, you won't appreciate the quality. They use heavy guage paper and print entirely in color. The photographs should be considered reference material.

Each time I visit the (almost) local KTM dealer here in Phoenix, I pick up the latest VMX issue. It's well worth the money. Each time I pick one up, I think about selling my bike and getting into vintage. My favorite issue is #4 with the 490 Maico.
