VSTA’s Annual Father's Day Ride is Back
Saturday and Sunday, June 16-17, 2001
Riders meeting at 10:00am both days

There will once again be a Father's Day Ride for 2001, at a whole new place... The Cherokee Hills Steakhouse in Paris Landing, TN. This ride is for everybody - bikes, ATV's, rookie, and expert… there's even a trail loop for the little guys. Nearly all of the trails are brand new, including some fun single track for the bikes.

Cost will be about $15-$20 per rider covering the entire weekend of riding (we're still working out a few of the details). At the end of the day on Sunday, we will meet for dinner at the Cherokee Hills Steakhouse located on the property and owned by the landowner. Free camping Saturday night.

Nearby accommodations: Shamrock Resort on Hwy 119 (731-232-8211) and Paris Landing State Park Inn (731-642-4311).

Protective gear is required for all riders, including helmets. Goggles, boots, and gloves are strongly recommended. No doubling. VSTA membership is not required, but sign-up will be available on site for non-members. All riders under 16 years old must ride with an adult at all times.

Directions: About 15 miles east of Paris, TN on US 79:
opposite the entrance to Paris Landing State Park, turn north on Hwy 119. Go 2.4 miles to Rabbit Creek Rd (small white "Shell Buyer" building at the corner). Turn left on Rabbit Creek. Go 0.9 miles. Turn right on Charlie Wynn Road. Go 2.0 miles. Turn right on V. Williams Road. Go 0.4 miles and you're there. (Note TN 119 is the same as KY 121 running south from Murray).
