I have an 04 Yamaha TTR 125L and I'm almost 16. I weigh about 150lb and about 5'8". I don't really race that much but i love riding on tracks, mostly i ride on wood trails though. I have been riding about 1 and half years and my dad says I'm almost ready for a new bike. All my friends are getting 125 2 strokes but my dad says that sticking to 4 strokes is a better choice because i don't really race that much and i don't know change the rings, or anything else on a bike for that matter. What are your guys thoughts on a 2 stroke vs. a 4 stroke in my case? I don't really have a preference on bike choice (Yamaha, Honda, ect.). How do 2 strokes compare to 4 strokes power wise, maintenance, and anything else you would find helpful to me. Thanks.
