What does everybody do with there water systems when not in use? Over the winter months they can get funky! I keep the bladder full all the time to keep it from drying out and getting nasty but have to drain it for the winter. Any good ideas to keep it from getting nasty?:scream:

I put a little water in mine and freeze. I does not get funky. I would like to buy a expandable drying rack, but I never seem to have the extra dough.

I use the freezer between rides, and have fashioned a hanging rack from a clothes hanger for winter.

just drain the water out and shake it out really good then wedge it open with something soft like a q-tip. works great

Take a clean, coated wire coat hanger, stretch it so it is oval & stick it inside the bladder.

remove mouthpiece

Drain water from bladder & tube

stick mouthpiece & tube in fill opening

Take the carboard tube from inside a roll of paper towels, fold slight lengthwise, insert into opening

throw bladder in closet till next ride
