We ride trails and seems whenever we ride a water crossing my sons yz bogs in the middle of the creek. Any ideas on waterproofing this bike?

Has anyone sealed up the hole in the bottom of the airbox. If so what did they use?

I am tired of wading out in the water to fish him out.

Thanks....Guy

I did it to my Husky CR125,, it was worse than my son's Yz85 for sucking water.. I used pieces of plastic milk jug and bathroom clear silicone sealant on the inside of the air box. Easy to remove when running in the dry and cheap and easy to do. I thought of putting a clear 3/8 inch hose in the bottom of the box with a plug in it like my old Suzuki 230 quadsport had, so I could see if any water was getting in and drain easily.

How deep of water can you cross with a YZ80 with out drowning it? I want to ride with my freind stephanie, but there are water crossings and somtimes the water gets too high for even a 700cc ATV. I dont really want to take the chance becasue her brother has browned his KX80 big wheel before.
