weak rear shock

hey, i have a 96 cr80, the rear shock seems to be really weak and rides very low, i need to find a way to stiffen it up for my 150 lbs, i wanted to adjust the adjuster nut at the top but i cant seem to get it loose no matter what i try. any tips on making it a little stiffer.

It probably needs to be serviced, and a stiffer spring is in order. 150lbs is a little out of the stock range for that bike I think.

untill then what can be done to get that adjuster free?
also where can i get a stiffer spring and will it be too hard to install

The spring is easy to install. You can probably get one from Mx-Tech. As to getting the adjuster loose...let it soak in some penetrating oil for a while, then get your sledgehammer and a big screwdriver and pound it loose.

well i think im going for the bbr shock spring, anyone have anything to say about it. its supposedly 30% stiffer and then i will adjust the adjuster nut and i think it will be alot stiffer in the rear.
