50's are the coolest. A bone stock 50 in your front yard is as much fun as a big bike on a track. You can have a fully pimped XR50 for cheap, too.

Check out SoCalXRs' Langtown race. Even the pros are doing 50 races.

It's just for grins. 50s are easy to haul, easy to ride, and easy to pay for.

I'll never know if 50s are fun or not. I can't bend my knees far enough to ride one.

50's rock Crash! :aj: You can haul them in anything and pretty much ride them without pissing off the neighbors, as long as you stay off the lawn! There fun as heck too, get a bunch of folks together with em and make a track, you're in there, fun in the making!;)

Check out www.BBRMOTORSPORTS.COM under products for XR50's. You'll be surprised what they have out for them. Way cool.

It's huffed. There are some crazy road racer types out there with some wicked fast Z50s. I don't know how well the parts will translate to the dirt, but I'll be a willing guinea pig.

There's also a dual overhead cam head available, and a 4-speed manual trans setup. Disc brakes, too. The sky's the limit with Honda 50s.

I believe that's an e-start system rigged to the cam (retrofit for older z50's that don't have the specially designed side case for the started gear). Looks trick though, my 50 will be ready for dirtweek, hopefully I will be too

It's a blower with a twin-carb setup. Click me for some cool z50 parts. Also check out the Takegawa and Kitaco sites. Bring a checkbook. :scream:

Elk, I'm with you 50's ROCK.
There is tons of cool add ons. Almost like the old days where your car just "looked" like a stocker.
Another good reason ... I'm getting one cuz their too darn light to break my toes.
Oh, and Elk ... apparently your dog is happy because you won't be riding the YT around the backyard anymore.

You must have been occupied!

Speed is just a question of money... how fast can you afford to go?

Personally I'm thinking that diesel bike looked pretty cool. No plug to foul. I wonder if it's a two-cycle or four-cycle and whether or not I can put a 2/53 Roots blower or an AiResearch turbocharger on it .

And just what might you mean by THAT? Perhaps I was riding! Perhaps I was enjoying the fine company to be found at DirtWeek! Your insinuations sound so dirty . . .
