Here is what I have been up to.
I opened a bike shop. Moto Tech. Took on a partner, took on Husky and Arctic Cat, got burned out and sold out to the partner. The partner wanted to go four seasons and I wanted to keep it strictly off road performance oriented. The business really took off. Im proud of what I created, sometimes I miss it. No regrets though.

The family is good. The kids all play soccer, I even played indoors this winter. Goodtimes.

I have spent the last few years building my cabin. From the ground up its just been the family. Lots of work though. Still a lot to do. Its mine though and I own it. The wife is going to school to be an Oral Hygienist, so I had to sell the 380 this past fall. The kids are still riding and I see a new bike for myself in the not to distant future. I like the new Berg (have to stay true to my aryan roots) pricey though oh and it a four stroke. Oh heck I don't know what I want.

Me and my brother are getting ready to build me one of these http://www.bateau.com/proddetail.php?prod=FL12 It should keep us busy until the snow melts in the mountains.

Its great. Family all around, my uncles place over my shoulder. Its hard to come home from the place. Once I get some solar up and going (nearest power pole is 35 miles away) it will be that much harder.

Very nice

Wife and I have always talked about having something like yours. Is it a kit or scratch built?

Its been built from scratch. It sits right at about 1000 SF. Since I have been building it overtime and because I can't work on it over the winter I have been able to look for bargains. The windows I picked up at a window mfg out of their scratch and dent pile. All in on the windows, $350.00. The real bargain and the reason the cabin is designed the way it is, was the deal I got on the floor joists. I bought the commercial grade floor joists, the floor sheeting for the bottom floor and 90 % of the top and enough wall sheeting to do about 40% of the walls for $150.00. I have also found a hand full of deals on craigslist. JWW it can be done. If you have patience it can be done very inexpensively.

That's a great Cabin! My Father In Law just got rid of the Family cabin Near Donnelly, and this last winter was the 1st time I haven't been up there in 12 years! Miss it a lot!

Looks great. Job well done. How close did the fire get? Too close I'm sure.

The picture with all the burned trees is about 400 yards from my cabin.
