I told Tommy that he couldn't get a dirt bike until he rode his bicycle without training wheels. He managed that at 4 1/2 and I got an XR50 the next weekend.
It's amazing how well that motivator works, isn't it?

While I don't necessarily have a problem with those training wheels, per se, they don't belong on a track. There are many people at fault here, from the mini-dads who are putting Jr. on the bike to the track owners allowing them on the track.

This is why some people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Success with Training Wheels

I can't view the video your referring to, but I have to tell you that I have had my son on a XR50, since he was 2 1/2 with the wheels4tots trainers and good use of the throttle limiter. I only let him ride on level ground, but now that he is 4, he shows great speed and breaking control. I do agree that the trainers allow for incorrect speed and balance during high speed corners, but overall their a great tool.

Yep, the video is out for me too. Maybe someone saw it and chewed the dad out so he took it down. Who knows. I'd just like to see for my self how bad it is.
