What can I do to improve my XR100R suspension?

I would like to know of some fairly cheap way to improve my suspension. Also, what springs would I need for me, I'm 5'6" and weigh around 125-130lbs. I plan on getting a new bike but that may not be possible so I was wondering what springs and how much they would cost? Thanks.
