I have a 1993 RM250. I keep bottoming the front end on medium jumps. I have added oil to eliminate the problem, it helped some. I think I am ready to upgrade to stiffer springs. What is the correct spring rate for a 235 pound rider. I am an aggressive/intermediate rider.

Thanks, Steve.

I suggest a .48kg fork spring. The starting point for suspension is the correct shock spring and FORK SPRINGS TO KEEP THE SUSPENSION BALANCED in your case i suggest about a 5.6kg spring. For best results a full suspension re-build and re-valve would provide the best results. A .9kg fork spring MAY :yikes:
