What parts to change on a 2008 CRF 250?

Just out of curiosity, what parts do you guys think I should change on my CRF 250 08'. I was thinking exhaust and chain. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

First you need to tell us what you want to change as far as bike performance- and are you sure you need o enhance the performance just yet?

Well, to be honest I didn't try it yet, and I ma buying it this afternoon. Since I m buying it, I can bargain to add parts / gear at a reduced price. So while i can save some $$$ was wondering what I could get. So far the best deal I got in the dealer near me is $6,050 for brand new CRF 250 08'.

Make the deal to buy the bike and include the caveat that you will get X discount in a couple months on parts you need to make the bike as fast as you. Then go out and ride it to decide if you even need to change anyting. Unless you are a top A class rider you would benefit little from most changes except an upgrade of the suspension (and from what I hear the Hondas are pretty good there already).

Get some extra air and oil filters right away so you can change them often

Lots of oil! How much you race can back you up for a parts discount. Most dealers should at least give you 20 percent off, for buying the bike from them. More is better. Tell him how much you are going to spend on parts a month. The best money spent on your bike would be to get the suspension set up for your ability and speed.
