ive ran the s-12 in 130's on my 02 with no problem
im curently running kenda milleville 120 on my rear of my 02 and 08
ok now here is something i experanced on my kdx 200 i kept running
s-12 130s a couple of tires then a third tire i received by accedent
a s-12 110/100 and i had more traction with that tire then the wider 1's

yep alot of times the skinnier tires do get better traction in certain situations they dig in better. i think that the tire compound is a bigger issue on hooking up than size though. just my 2 cents

depends what kinda terrain you are riding on... on my yz125 i run a 110-90-19 soft terrain and on the rocky trails i prefer a DOT approved (hard compound) 100-90-19. The 200 has an 18inch back rim if i'm correct... so you're tires would probably be 100 series (the middle number is 100 instead of 90).

I always believe that if you put too much tire on the samller dispacement bikes then you have a harder time breaking it loose consistently in corners to turn with the rear tire a bit. It takes much more clutch abuse in situations where you need to get the power back up too. a 100 size tires is usually best but never bigger than a 110. JMHO.
