What to buy with limited budget...

I have owned a yamah blaster, a kawasaki prairie 400, and a 05 TTR 230. I had to sell my last bike to buy my firebird and now am looking to buy something before summer ends. I ride my friends and step dads quads while i am saving up some cash. Basically i will have $2200 bucks to use on something in about 2 weeks. i look on craigslist about every day and kinda know what i can afford.

I gotta couple options right now and want to know what would be the best choice. I am looking at 1997 and newer CR250's and have found some pretty sick ones for in my price range. Or i have an opportunity to get a 1989 Quadzilla 500 with a pipe and full paddles for $2000 obo or a 1997 Banshee WIth pipe and paddles for $2000.

I am 6 '2 and 175 lbs. I ride dunes but also take alot of roadtrips for Mountain riding. What would be the best Choice for least money? Any other suggestions?

Oh and my friends ride Yfz 450s and trx450s... so i would kinda like to be able to keep up with them (maybe CR250?)

thanks. I'm leaning towards a banshee or newer cr 250.

Oh mine is a 92'. its only a 305 with dual flowmasters and headers. but gas prices are too high for me to be driving a 350. Are you restoreing it to original or hot rod.
