I just picked up a super clean '02 KX 250, and was wondering which 2 stroke oil to use for the premix. I have read around and it seems that there are a good many to choose from. PJ1, Bel-ray, Golden Spectro, Klotz, etc. Which one and which grade seems to be the favorable one? There are several grades in some of these brands, and I do not know which one to choods. I would like to get a good oil that is reasonably priced and easy to find.

Hah, LOL!
I personaly use Klotz R-50. I like how it burns cleanly, and also the scent. I used to run Belray full synthetic, but it didnt seem to burn very cleanly, and also seemed to gum stuff up.

Hi there. I have a super clean 2002 KX 250 as well (along with a super clean 2002 KX 500 heh).

I used to use klotz until I heard that it gums up your power valve etc.!

Then I switched to yamalube 2R becuase I have heard nothing but GOOD things about it, never any bad. It may not smell as pretty as klotz, but really, who the hell cares about that??? It does look kinda cool though; its purple, unlike klotz, which is red.
