I bought a KTM engine off E-bay and now I need info about it so that I can look for parts. It is a water cooled 250cc with the following numbers stamped into the bottom of the left case: 7-545-04583. A "4583" is also stamped into the right side case. The old owner though it was a 1984 mxc250 but didn't know for sure. It has a Power valve in the exhaust, a magnesium clutch cover, and a 39mm Dellorta flat side carb on the reed cage. The words "digital control are cast on the flywheel cover. The shift lever and the kick start are on the left side and the drive sprocket or the right.
