kxrider125,

winchcable is correct, it's a 1982 bike.

Try these sites for VIN id's, they helped me alot.

http://www.analogx.com/cgi-bin/cgivin.exe

http://auto.consumerguide.com/vhr/index.cfm/act/freereport

http://www.autocheck.com/autocheck/1_autocheck/jsp/home.jsp?&_209=8&_414=0040252696qIa2P8GKuAS7AmY1GDud

I found this parts sites to be very helpul as well. They have lots of exploded drawing and you can order parts too.

Hope this is helpful, Steve.

winchcable is right your bike is a 1982 vintage.
look for the numbers on the steering head and it goes like this
steering head of frame #'s find the 10th digit B=1981 C=1982 D=1983 E=1984 F=1985 G=1986 H=1987 J=1988 K=1989 L=1990 M=1991 n=1992 P=1993 R=1994 S=1995 T= 1996 V=1997 W=1998 X=1999
Not sure beyond 99.

another good site that is good for vintage zuki's is www.suzukionly.net . They have a lot of stuff to help you out. And by an old article on that site, i guess your bike is one of the fastest moto bikes out there. They said that they had to tune it down in 1983 because there were too many people complaining about the power.
