what years cylinder will work on a 97 kx 80

Just wondering what what years cylinder will work on a 97 kx 80. I know that I was working on a 2001 cr 250 and the 2000 cylinder came highly recomended for the low end power. What cylinders fit the 97? Would a 99 work? THANKS

www.bikebandit.com and cross ref the parts. i think 88-02 are the same. you'll be suprize whats really all the same on them.

92-97 cylinder are the same part number, not sure if any others will cross over. I know when we owned a 99 the break down was usually 91-97 for most parts, then 98-01 I believe were the same.

yes, I see the 99 has the power valve so it would be different :ride:
