I'm looking for a good Dual sporting tire that leans more toward hard pack dirt, gravel and asphalt than trail. I’m leaning towards the ( Cheng Shin C858 ) Tires. Does anybody have a conversion for 90/90-21 & 140/80-18 tire sizes Cheng shin sizes are like what I used years ago?

Kenda 270 is a popular one. They run ~ $10 more than the Cheng Shins.

The 460-18 is comparable to a 140-80-18, I believe. 460 should be referring to 4.6 inches which converts over to 140 CM.

I just put a set of K270’s on the 450. Actually, I rode it to work for the first time today. The 270’s seem to be a good 50/50 compromise tire……..much more aggressive than the OEM tires that come on the typical dual sport bike. However, I would not expect them to work too well in the sand, although I have not tried yet.

If you order a set, get the 3.25 front and 5.10 rear. The 4.50 rear measures only about 3.75 wide. :coocoo:
