i have a 2000 kx 125 and i would like to know what the best thing for me to stiffen up my suspension. I want the cheepest way and as stiff as i can get them. i am going to be jumping this bike.
I changed a bike that's stock suspension was configured for a rider lighter than I was at the time. The low cost upgrade I performed was installing stiffer springs and decreasing the oil level from 100mm ( stock ) to 90mm. This set up will help resist bottoming, but personally I felt that the forks were a little harsh. Probably your best bet would be to call a suspension shop and discuss revalve options, especially if you are going to be riding freestyle.
