What's the best bike for me?? HELP ASAP

Well a lond story short my parents are splitting up. My moms moving to a house with trails and i need a second bike to keep at her house. Right now i race a 02 Kx 125 and i love it
im 5'6 ish
140 pounds
and a agressive rider.
I will be riding trails with this bike and might hit the track
Im thinking like a 96-01 cr 80 or Yz or Kx. i love 80s and im willing to sink the money to get it moving. My amount of money i have to buy a bike is in the 500 to 700 area. Whats the best bike for me?? 125 250 80 85 100?? Any help is great

$500 to $700 isnt much. I have seen old XR250s go for around $700-$800...but a XR 250 may be too heavy for you. Of course, a bike in that price range would probably need some work. I would save my money and buy something better down the road.

thats the reason iwas looking at some older 80s on CL. i found a fex running in good condition and i would still have money left over. im thinking im going to go with a 80 because i have parts laying around for them

I see older 90's kx125's for about $700. I got my rm 125 for $600. Just look for older 125's.

Definetly a 125 2-Stroke or a 230.

The guy already has a KX125...why would he want another 125? Read the threads.

Ride trails on a 125 2t?...arguably one of the worst bikes for the trail. They do what they were designed for very well....MX.
