What would be the best thing to use for cleaning parts such as nuts, bolts, exhaust springs etc. before putting them back together. In the past I would spray them with WD-40 and then wipe the oily/dirty part off with a rag.
I saw some Berryman Carburator and Parts Cleaner in a gallon size container that cost $13, it cleans by dipping the parts in the solution and using a brush to clean the part. Is this a good product to use or is there a better way?

Non-chlorinated brake cleaner works for me. $2.29 at Autozone. Spray it on, wipe it off. Drys extremely with no residue. I use it by the case load.
