What's the goofiest protective gear you've seen?

I've been having a hell of a time finding pee wee gear that will fit my 4 year old, or stuff that isn't just cheap crap they should be selling at Target to go with the inline skates. I've checked around my local dealers, but nobody seems to keep this stuff in stock lately, and I don't blame them given the state of the economy.

So I decided, maybe I need to come up with other gear ideas for him. I remember as a kid we would sometimes wear football pads when we rode, or maybe I could try adding armor plating to the outside of a life jacket. Now if I can just find a pumpkin to make him a helmet, Charley Brown style...

I'll bet if you slapped a KTM or Alpinestars logo on those manpons, you could make a million bucks!
