I've heard this in reference to Ricky Carmichael's riding style on several occasions (like in the magazines). Anyone heard of it?

Whiskey throttles and brand new cars, oak tree you're in my way...

Of course this has nothing to do with what you are asking - my apologies - and the words of the song were actually 'whisky bottles', not throttles - but I'm in some kind of mood tonight. Just knowing the words to that song shows my age too - sheesh! I better go to bed now...

It just means that he rides wide open, always gasing it quickly. Basically the opposite of smooth, very aggressive and wide open.

Whiskey throttle is like when your getting unglued in a whoop section starting to rag-doll and grab a big handfull of throttle. Mind, body not harmonious with throttle hand.
