Wheel turns when kicking over in neautral

Hello everyone

I have a 1998 Suzuki RMX 250 (Australian model). I noticed the other day while kicking it over on the workstand that the back wheel turns a bit. Not like it does when in gear, but it is turning. I found this a bit strange.
Has anyone else seen this? Is it a problem?
I am using ATF F in the gearbox by the way.

That is normal. It is caused by clutch plate drag. If you ever had a bike running on a stand you can get the tire rotating without ever putting the bike in gear. I've seen people do this to lube the chain.

Of course, you should NEVER have the bike in gear while running on the stand, right!

Just wanted to make sure. I have seen some guys oil a chain - engine running, bike in gear on the sidestand, wobble wobble, oh ****!
Yes they did keep all their fingers, but looked at each other with that 'lucky to get away with that one' look.
