Today, I decied to replace the Belray Oil I had inside. I last filled it with 1 litre as suggested in these forums. When I drained it, there was only about 1/3 inside. Where di my engine oil go. There are no leaks anywhere.

Has this happend to anyone? Is there a solution?

If there are no external leaks, the only place it could go is into the crankcase through the right side crank seal or the centercase seal, where it is then burnt. If you are sure there are no leaks whatsoever (case gaskets, countershaft seal, shifter shaft seal, kickstarter seal. Normally if the waterpump seal is leaking, the oil will be milky and full of water, not missing, so I doubt the oil went into your cooling system.

Well I guess I will have to monitor it's consumption. If it is the crank seak, I guess that means splitting the case? Doesn't sound like too much fun.

Strangely, there was no excess carbon build up on the piston. It was relatively clean.
