No I don't off the top of my little peanut head but I'm sure he was a few months older than Bubba is now. Thats why Bubba has the youngest rider to win ....... records.
You guys are thinking too "old school". The 125 USED to be the "Support" class, now there are guys that spend their entire careers racing the tiddlers.
bubbba went pro when he was barely 16 and RC started when he was 17 if im not mistaken. and going down for the record i disagreed with, not the record but the big contreversy was how tight the 125 points chase was between brown and langston and RC stepping down looked like team tactics to help brown win.
Steve Lamson ruined the 125 class and opened the door for the 125 class to lose its "entry to pro" status. I thought it was disrespectful of lamson to sandbag and stay in the 125's. As soon as the "past champion" rule came out, he was all over it. I could have my times mixed up with that rule change but either way lamson stayed in the 125's and choose not to battle the better riders in the 250 class. I no longer see the 125 class as I once did, I now think it is fair game for anyone.
